Siblings Project // January 2017

I'm a bit late to the party with my first 'Siblings Project' post (I think it's meant to be uploaded on the 15th of the month) but I really wanted to be involved with it for the full year. It's run by Lucy at Dear Beautiful and I think it's a lovely idea. Although our first photos have just been taken at home in Oliver's room, I'm in love with them! Now that Elsie can sit up unaided, it's a lot easier to get photos of the two of them together. Plus, whenever I go to take a photo of Elsie on her own now, Oliver immediately wants in on the action.

Elsie's 5 Month Update

It's such a cliche to say 'where have the months gone?!' when you have a baby, but honestly time really does go too quickly. I forever go between being excited that Elsie's learning new tricks and developing her little character and then longing for the squishy newborn cuddles and windy smiles again 💗

Solly Baby Wrap Review

I didn't even think about getting a wrap or baby carrier for when Oliver was a baby, partly because he was a super chilled out baby and even if he was needing more comfort than normal, he had my undivided attention. However, I knew this would never be the case with a second baby, I'd need something to free up my hands to play with Oliver but still be able to comfort the new arrival if he/she wouldn't settle.

Oh help, oh no.... it's a Gruffalo!

We love to go walking with the kids, even though one can't walk yet! Oliver is getting better each time we go and I can't wait until we can take him up Snowdon in a couple of years. We plan to go walking quite a bit this spring/summer as it's great exercise for all of us... and it's free! Always a bonus, especially while I'm on maternity leave.

Hello, I'm new here...

I have been thinking of starting a blog for a few months now but constantly talked myself out of it. But I've finally plucked up the courage to give it a go! So, I'm Emma, a 28 year old mum to Oliver (who's just turned 3) and Elsie (who's almost 5 months old). I live with my partner Aled (getting far too old to call him my boyfriend!) in North Wales.
